SEVENTEEN has made a profitable official debut in Japan!
The group launched their debut Japanese album, “We Make You,” on May 30. On the day of the album’s launch, it ranked as excessive as No. 2 on the Oricon each day albums chart, promoting 95,000 items throughout that first day. It ranked No. 2 on Oricon’s weekly albums chart for the week of May 28 to June 3, promoting 127,985 items in that first week.
As a testomony to their recognition in Japan, an enormous poster promoting their Japanese debut was positioned at a well-known mall within the Shibuya district in Tokyo, and SEVENTEEN cafés and pop-up shops emerged on giant streets in Tokyo and Osaka.
SEVENTEEN is slated to carry out a collection of concert events from September four to six on the Saitama Super Arena.
