On October 11, her company Kakao M confirmed that “BBIBBI” surpassed 1 million distinctive listeners on Korea’s largest music web site Melon solely 16 hours after its launch. They said that by 23 hours in, it had already damaged the 24-hour distinctive listener document.
Her new digital single “BBIBBI” was launched on October 10 at 6 p.m. KST, and by 5 p.m. KST on October 11, it had surpassed 1.42 million, at that time breaking the document for most original listeners in 24 hours. The earlier document was 1.four million distinctive listeners, which had been set by IU and Park Myung Soo’s duet “Leon” that they launched as a part of the “Infinite Challenge” music pageant in 2015.
“BBIBBI” went on to document 1,462,625 distinctive listeners in complete within the first 24 hours.
“BBIBBI” at the moment stays on the prime of the every day and realtime charts of all six main music charts (Melon, Genie, Bugs, Mnet, Naver, and Soribada). As the track can also be No. 1 on iChart’s realtime chart, it’s achieved what’s referred to as a “licensed all-kill.” If “BBIBBI” takes No. 1 on iChart’s weekly chart as properly, it should achieve “excellent all-kill” standing.
