BTS utterly dominated the newest Oricon weekly streaming chart!

On July 21, Oricon printed this week’s streaming chart (formally dated July 26), and BTS singlehandedly swept the highest three spots.

The group’s newest hit “Permission to Dance” rose to No. 1 on this week’s chart, ending “Butter‘s” eight-week reign on the high of the streaming chart. According to Oricon calculations, the tune racked up a formidable 21,430,094 streams from July 12 to 18.

Meanwhile, after eight consecutive weeks at No. 1, “Butter” fell to No. 2 with a complete of 14,846,308 streams for the week of July 12 to 18.

Finally, BTS’s 2020 smash hit “Dynamite” climbed again up the chart to No. Three this week with a complete of seven,145,285 streams.
